Contact and Appointment

TOPICS

Asst. Prof. Eser Ağar, MD sees patients at two clinics in two countries: his practice in Silivri, Istanbul (Türkiye) and his clinic in Tirana, Albania. On this page you will find contact details for both clinics, the ways to request an appointment, and what you should know when planning your visit.

    How to request an appointment

You can send your request in three ways. All of them reach the same appointment book; the channel you choose does not affect your place in the queue.

When you send your request, please state briefly what you are consulting about. Appointment length varies by subject, so visits are scheduled with the reason in mind.

    Which specialty should you book?

This is a common question: HPV, genital warts, hymenoplasty, cosmetic gynaecology, pregnancy follow-up and general gynaecological complaints all fall under obstetrics and gynaecology. There is no separate "HPV department" or "cosmetic gynaecology department" — all of these are assessed by the obstetrician-gynaecologist.

So you do not need to choose a department: simply request an appointment with Asst. Prof. Eser Ağar, MD. If your complaint belongs to another specialty, you will be referred during the consultation.

    Working calendar and booking early

Asst. Prof. Eser Ağar, MD serves patients in two countries, at two clinics. The current working calendar — which dates he sees patients in Tirana and which in Silivri — is published periodically on his Instagram account.

Instagram: @dr.eser_agar_clinic — the calendar post is pinned to the top of the profile.

We recommend planning your appointment early:

    • If you are travelling from abroad — patients coming to the Tirana clinic from Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and other European countries need to align their travel with the appointment date.
    • Procedures require a longer slot. Appointments where a procedure may be carried out on the same day are therefore limited in number.
    • The calendar is periodic. An appointment on a particular date at a particular clinic may not always be available.

If you are travelling a long distance, please confirm your appointment before booking your ticket. You can follow the current calendar on Instagram and verify available dates by phone or WhatsApp.

    Finding out before you travel

For patients coming from a distance we do two things so that you have an idea before you set out:

    • Preliminary assessment from a photograph. From a photograph sent via WhatsApp we can assess the situation in general terms. This is guidance, not a diagnosis — the definitive assessment is made by examination. Photographs are kept confidential and used only for that assessment.
    • Cost information. Our prices are not a secret: we give this information to anyone who calls or messages. That way a patient travelling from abroad sets out knowing roughly what to expect. The final amount depends on what is required and is settled after the examination.

    Silivri / Istanbul practice

The practice is in central Silivri, on the western side of Istanbul, and is reachable by public transport from the Thrace districts.

    Tirana / Albania clinic

For patients coming from Kosovo, North Macedonia and Montenegro, the road journey to Tirana takes a few hours. Patients travelling from elsewhere in Europe can use Tirana International Airport. If you mention the city you are travelling from when booking, a suitable time is arranged so that the consultation and any necessary tests can be completed on the same day.
