CLITORIS AESTHETIC

Clitoris aesthetics (Hudoplasty)

Clitoris aesthetics is a set of surgical and non-surgical interventions applied to the clitoris and the skin tissue covering it for the purpose of increasing sexual pleasure, improving aesthetic appearance and eliminating physical discomfort.

The structural characteristics of the clitoris vary according to genetics, age-related changes, hormone levels and many other physiological factors.

In order to understand the subject of clitoris aesthetics, we need to know what 3 terms mean.

Clitoris
clitoral hood
clitoral preputium
The clitoris consists of the corpus cavernosum clitoridis (clitoral bodies) and the glans clitoridis (clitoral head). These structures become filled with blood during sexual stimulation, resulting in an erection.

Clitoral hood is the name given to the thin skin tissue covering the head of the clitoris like a hood.

Clitoral preputium is the skin tissue of the clitoral hood that extends upwards and covers the entire clitoris.

Size and Shape: The size of the clitoris generally ranges from 5mm to 35mm, although these measurements may vary depending on individual anatomical structure and measurement methods.

Clitoral hood and clitoral preputium also vary in shape and volume, just like the size of the clitoris.

Abnormal Concept and Clitoromegaly: Clitoromegaly is a condition in which the clitoris is larger than expected and is usually caused by excess testosterone, overactivity of the adrenal gland, and conditions associated with drug use.

Treatment Approaches

Excluding the condition of clitoromegaly, variations in the anatomical structures of the clitoral hood and clitoral preputium tissues are generally considered normal and do not require any treatment. However, there are medical and surgical treatment methods for abnormal conditions that may cause physical discomfort, pain, sexual dysfunction or aesthetic concerns in individuals.

Clitoramegaly and shape anomalies require a multidisciplinary approach. Endocrinological assessment, psychological support and, if necessary, surgical intervention play an important role in the management of these conditions.

Aesthetic problems related to clitoral hood and clitoral preputium, on the other hand, refer to more limited aesthetic interventions that do not actually concern the clitoris, but only the skin tissue on the clitoris. These interventions are also called hoodoplasty.

What is Hudoplasty?

Hudoplasty is a procedure that aims to reduce the clitoral hood and preputium tissue that covers the clitoris by surgical methods. Removing excess tissue provides both aesthetic and functional benefits. The advantages of this procedure include increasing clitoral stimulation and improving hygienic conditions.

How is hudoplasty done?

Hudoplasty is an operation that can be performed in a doctor’s office. If labiaplasty is to be performed, it would be appropriate to plan accordingly. The operation can be performed under local or general anesthesia depending on the conditions of the patient and doctor. There is no need for hospitalization, and most patients return to normal activities in a short time.
